COMING IN 2024

IN THE GROUNDS OF

ENGLEFIELD HOUSE, PANGBOURNE, BERKSHIRE

In 2022 a group of Caroline Flack’s close friends and family organised a festival in her memory. The aim was to celebrate her life and to raise money for her favourite causes.

From early inception the idea grew and, with the help of some amazing sponsors, by the time Flackstock arrived it had become a 5000 strong event with 28 incredible acts on stage.

Now in it’s third year Flackstock is still the most magical day. We not only raise a huge sum of money but we shout out loud about the need for mental health awareness and provide a safe place where people feel they could talk freely about their own mental health.

On 22th July 2024 Flackstock will be returning to Englefield where our aim is to continue to grow the event into the UK’s biggest and most accessible festival promoting mental health awareness.

Mindfulness

Caroline Flack mural

Flackstock’s dedicated Mindfulness area, sponsored by Mind, is a space for talks, sessions and performances dedicated to mental wellbeing. A safe space in the festival where people can go to better their own mental health.

In previous years we’ve had amongst others; yoga sessions; talks from our charities; a Q& A with suicide prevention advocate Ben West; a drawing masterclass from Charlie Mackesy, an empowerment session from ADHDAF and Belief Coding with Jess Cunningham.

In 2024 we are looking to expand our Mindfulness area with a larger tent and more on the line-up.

FAQs

We get asked this all the time! The only way we can make Flackstock affordable to run whilst also raising money is to piggy bank onto an existing festival. That festival takes place over the weekend, and we borrow all their infrastructure on the Monday. Monday is the new Saturday you know.

We raised a combined total of £495,000 in 2022 and 2023. This is divided equally between our 4 charity partners.

We are a short taxi journey from Reading Station or an even shorter one from Theale station. In 2023 we organised a shuttle bus from Theale station – join our mailing list to stay informed about details of this service for 2024.

We sadly don’t have room for unsigned music acts but we always appreciate listening to the stuff you send. We are always happy to hear about any mindfulness practitioners. If you would like to be a part of our mindfulness offering email flackstockmindfulness@gmail.com
