It feels like an age since we were last in touch.
I hope you’ve all been really well and that you’re excited about the next major event in your calendar, which is obviously FLACKSTOCK ’25, right?
We have been busy getting the festival together and now have some pretty mega news to share with you. We didn’t want to mention this until we were sure, but I am so excited to tell you that Flackstock is MOVING VENUE.
Before I tell you where to let me just explain a little about how we came to this decision. Obviously, Englefield House is the most stunningly beautiful and magical location imaginable. The decision to move was not easy, but the truth is the only day that would ever be available to us is a Monday. And even though you lot were so stunningly loyal and always brought the sequins anyway, there is no doubt that Flackstock will be more successful on literally any other day of the week. So not only are we moving, but we will also now be on a FRIDAY. And not just any Friday, but a Friday slap bang in the middle of the summer holidays, August 8th, to be precise. Friday 8 August. It is a brilliant date, and we just can’t wait.
And now for the really BIG NEWS… Our new home will be Crystal Palace Bowl. Not only is this in London, but it’s on both the Southern rail network (direct services run from Victoria and London Bridge) as well as the London Overground – on the newly-named Windrush line – making Flackstock easier to get to than ever.
It’s a really wonderful site. Surrounded by beautiful trees and the stage floats on a lake. There is plenty of space for all our usual bits and bobs. The Mindfulness Tent, a kid’s area, a VIP section, loads of food vendors and of course, plenty of bars.
Now, get ready, because tickets go on sale THIS Friday. We have a limited number of early bird tickets at 30% off. And because you’re on the mailing list you’ll get the link on Thursday, a whole 24 hours before anyone else. But don’t dilly dally, because last year they sold out in minutes. We will be sending the email out at 10am, so be poised with your fingers at the ready to click YES PLEASE on guaranteeing your spot at the best festival of the summer.
