22 JULY 2024

In 2022 a group of Caroline Flack’s close friends and family organised a festival in her memory. The aim was to celebrate her life and to raise money for her favourite causes.

From early inception the idea grew and, with the help of some amazing sponsors, by the time Flackstock arrived it had become a 5000 strong event with 28 incredible acts on stage.

Now in it’s third year Flackstock is still the most magical day. We not only raise a huge sum of money but we shout out loud about the need for mental health awareness and provide a safe place where people feel they could talk freely about their own mental health.

On 22nd July 2024 Flackstock will be returning to Englefield where our aim is to continue to grow the event into the UK’s biggest and most accessible festival promoting mental health awareness.

Flackstock’s dedicated Mindfulness area, sponsored by Mind, is a space for talks, sessions and performances dedicated to mental wellbeing. A safe space in the festival where people can go to better their own mental health.

In previous years we’ve had amongst others; yoga sessions; talks from our charities; a Q& A with suicide prevention advocate Ben West; a drawing masterclass from Charlie Mackesy, an empowerment session from ADHDAF and Belief Coding with Jess Cunningham.

In 2024 we are looking to expand our Mindfulness area with a larger tent and more on the line-up.

We get asked this all the time! The only way we can make Flackstock affordable to run whilst also raising money is to piggy bank onto an existing festival. That festival takes place over the weekend, and we borrow all their infrastructure on the Monday. Monday is the new Saturday you know.

We raised a combined total of £495,000 in 2022 and 2023. This is divided equally between our 4 charity partners.

We announce our line up in the spring. The best way to stay up to date is to join our mailing list by clicking the link at the top of this page or following us on Instagram. Once the line-up has been announced we’ll pin it to the top of our Instagram feed.

Access to our VIP area from where you can make use of comfy seating (first come first served) to watch the show. There’s also a VIP bar, VIP toilets and a range of additional VIP stalls. Plus some VIPs hanging around.

Yes! We love children. There are children’s activities, and the show is always family friendly. Kids and babies of all ages are welcome. Children under 5 don’t need a ticket. And if you have a VIP ticket your children can accompany you into the VIP area without an upgrade of their own.

No, sorry. No dogs except access dogs allowed. Speak to our ticket agent s for specific criteria.

No, you can’t bring your own food and drink but there is a wealth of food and drink on offer to cover all diets.

Then we dance in the rain. Bring waterproofs and your biggest smile. We don’t allow umbrellas so leave those at home or you will lose it at the gates.

We’ll announce actual timings closer to the day – sign up to the mailing list for up-to-date info or keep an eye on our Instagram. As a guide the bands have always started at 4pm with doors opening approximately an hour before this. We finish at 11pm.

It’s brilliant! There is plenty of parking. You can buy a parking space when you buy your ticket or you can buy one on the day when you arrive. There is disabled parking available to buy when you purchase an accessible ticket. For directions see below.

We are a short taxi journey from Reading Station or an even shorter one from Theale station. In 2023 we organised a shuttle bus from Theale station – join our mailing list to stay informed about details of this service for 2024.
